The SWOTShop™ process is the Masterson/SWOT Team’s proprietary workshop technique. The single-minded focus of the SWOTShop™ process is actionability of results against specific key issues facing the brand. It is used to channel both the analytical and creative problem solving abilities of an identified group of participants to solve pivotal, high level strategic or implementation challenges facing a brand. It is structured to use existing research results from a variety of studies as the input pool of data to feed a highly interactive, inductive problem solving and solution generating process.

After planning and preparation, the core activity of the SWOTShop™ process is a workshop attended by both key Client stakeholders and SWOT’s project team. The workshop is structured around two core SWOT principles… projective ideation and an inductive approach to “building” a spectrum of possible solutions from the ground up rather than working toward a pre-conceived definition of success. This dynamic approach to generating real-world results yields a rich variety of both traditional and unexpected solutions.
