Since 1988 The Masterson/SWOT Team has been helping clients address critical specific marketing challenges by gaining deep insight into the brand's target and translating that insight into actionable, effective strategy. Our first "product" was Purchaser Positioning™ and addressed the need to create a differentiated, ownable presence in ever more homogenized and commoditized markets. As clients began asking us to apply what they told us was our unique perspective and approach to other marketing challenges our product portfolio grew to encompass a brand's lifecycle from product development to brand positioning and messaging to brand equity management.

What all of these products have in common is The Masterson/SWOT Team's inductive, rather than deductive, investigative and analytical approach to marketing development. They all build from the basic truths of the target and marketplace (uncovering them is often the greatest challenge in the project) to define a range of potential solutions that emerge from the analysis representing "the realm of the possible" rather than some preconceived definition of success. The results are often eye-opening, unexpected and result in a competitive advantage in insight and strategy. At least that's what our clients tell us...and who are we to argue.
